Why Join Scale & Coin?

While Scale is a professional organization, we also have strong traditions that make our community what it is. During the year Scale hosts a variety of social events including retreats, dinners, and events within families to bond. Even beyond formal events, members spend a lot of time with one another.

Community

Networking

Scale & Coin regularly hosts speakers from top firms across the nation and has held private networking events with companies like Berkshire Hathaway, and Capitol One. With a wide and established network of dedicated alumni to support current members, we enter recruiting with a leg up.

Diversity

With 19 countries and 16 majors represented, Scale is working towards a more inclusive business community at Duke. Our initiatives such as internal affinity groups, diversity recruitment panels, and community building discussions help support and empower the many diverse backgrounds represented.

Mentorship

Upon joining Scale, members choose an upperclassman big and family, who will stay with them throughout both their Duke experience and beyond. Scale & Coin also has a variety of spheres which provides members the opportunity to receive mentorship from students in specific fields.
