Chris Dong is a senior from Basking Ridge, New Jersey, majoring in Computer Science with minors in Finance and Mathematics. He has interned at a middle market private equity firm specializing in industrials and manufacturing, as well as a search fund focused on the medical aesthetics sector.

Charlotte Wu is a sophomore from Weston, Florida double-majoring in Public Policy and Psychology with a certificate in Markets & Management Studies. Her freshman summer she interned at a non-profit advocacy organization in South Africa through Duke Engage.

Edward Song is a rising sophomore from Melbourne, Australia, majoring in Statistics and Economics with a minor in Computer Science. In his freshman summer, he interned at the Duke Center of Institutional Research as a data scientist through Data+.

Ashley Aufderheide is a rising sophomore from Greenwich, CT majoring in Economics with a Finance concentration and minoring in Media Studies. Outside of Scale, Ashley is in the Dzialga Women in Finance Initiative, Duke Business Oriented Women, and Club Tennis.

Ilene Park is a senior from DC and Seoul, majoring in Economics and English. She’s interned for special situations investing groups. Outside of Scale, Ilene is involved in Dzialga Women in Finance and Bull City Beds. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, throwing on the wheel, and cooking for and with family and friends.

Alex Soudmand is a junior from Toronto, Ontario, majoring in Biology and Economics with a minor in Chemistry. He has interned in private credit at Sagard Healthcare Partners and in Wealth Management at CIBC. Outside of Scale, Alex is involved in Bull City Beds, Duke Hockey, and Lab Research.

Pietro Ferraresi is a junior from London and Milan, majoring in economics with a minor in computer science. He has interned in Transaction Services at PwC and in the M&A coverage team of Investment Banking at Nomura. Outside of scale, Pietro is involved in Scholars of Finance, Duke UK club and is VP of the European Business Society.

Natalie Song is sophomore from Ridgewood, New Jersey majoring in Economics with a minor and certificate in political science and documentary studies. She is interning her freshmen summer at a private equity firm focused on the consumer services and technologies sectors.

Dhruv Trivedi is a sophomore from Saratoga, California majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science. His freshman summer, he interned at an Enterprise AI startup in Palo Alto where he worked on AI Agents. Dhruv has also previously worked in Physics labs around the world and is involved with the Quant Club as well as math research at Duke.

Isabella Paliotta is a Senior majoring in Computer Science (AI/ML concentration) and Philosophy. She has worked on offensive cyber operations, vulnerability research, offensive cyber capabilities development, and AI across Lockheed Martin, the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, and components of the US Government.

Chase Leibowitz is a sophomore from Gladwyne, Pennsylvania majoring in Computer Science and Statistical Science. His freshman summer, he interned at a hedge fund specializing in structured credit and investments across securitized assets, loans, and regulatory capital.

Claire Ziemba is a sophomore from Celebration, Florida, majoring in Economics with a Markets and Management certificate. This summer, she is working as an ambassador content creator for brands like Poppi, BaubleBar, Amazon, and Target, specializing in campus-based user-generated content.

Kaylyn Zhong is a junior from Johns Creek, GA, double-majoring in Economics and Political Science. She has worked previously at various stage startups in the fintech and edtech space. On campus, she is also a member of The Cube Entrepreneurship LLC and Devils en Pointe.

Jiaheng Yin is a sophomore at Duke University majoring in Public Policy and Economics. Born and raised in Singapore, he spent last summer at one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds in the Infrastructure Private Equity team, where he supported investments in energy, transportation, and digital infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region.
