James Gao

James Gao is a junior studying Statistics and Public Policy. He lives in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, but originally comes from Hamilton, Ontario. He’s interested in finance as it relates to climate change and consumer finance policy, and intends to go to law school after graduation. Last summer, he interned at Crooked Media to analyze political engagement and strategy. At Duke, he’s also involved in the campus sketch comedy group, the Duke Chronicle, and the Duke Democrats. He enjoys reading and cooking in his free time.
